Linda Funke Johnson
Linda F. Johnson is the attorney sole shareholder of Senter, Stephenson, Johnson, PA. Her principal areas of practice are Estate Planning and Administration, Real Property Transactions, Guardianship and Taxation.
She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, Hawaii and Connecticut. She received her Specialization Designation from the NC Bar in Estate Planning and Probate in 2007. She is a member of the Wake County Estate Planning Council and Tenth Judicial District. She is a founding member of the Wake County Attorney Breast Cancer group.
Linda is currently serving as a council member of the Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. She is the past editor of The Will and the Way, published by the NC Bar Association. She has authored several articles for that publication and served as vice chair of the The Will and the Way committee; Co-Editor of the NC Bar Association’s NC Estate Administration Manual from 2005 to 2008 and Chapter Editor from 2004 to the present. She is a volunteer with the Pro Bono Committee of the NC Bar Association working on the Wake County Hospice Project (1998 to present) and with the Wills for Heroes program (2008). She teaches classes concerning Probate Law and Real Property for the NC Bar Association. She is a member of the Estate Planning, Elder Law and Real Property Law sections of the NC Bar Association.
Linda was voted best attorney in Fuquay Varina in 2001, 2008, 2011 and 2012 in a survey conducted by the F-V Independent. In 2011, she was voted Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce. Her civic involvement is outlined on the We Care! page of this website.
Linda is a 1985 graduate of Quinipiac College, School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut. Earlier, she received a BS in Business Management and minor in German from Fairfield University, in Fairfield, Connecticut in 1982. She attended Wagner University in Bregenz, Austria in her junior year of undergraduate study.
She married Steve Johnson in 1990 and they have two daughters, Kelsey and Dana. Linda has been a breast cancer survivor since 2003.
